When you meditate more, you will be able to recognize your thoughts and remain aware. As a benefit, you will have fewer dreams and more restful sleep. You still stop the needless clinging to your daydreams and begin to engage the present moment with calmness of mind and a sense of purpose.

As you continue to practice meditation you will get sense of the moment and its impermanence as it passes, a new one arrives.
